The Most Beautiful Location
The Saltings Estate is only a one hour drive north of
Auckland, a seven minutes drive to the pretty town of
Warkworth and ten minutes to Matakana. Driving from the
south, on State Highway 1 take the second set of traffic
lights at Warkworth and turn right following the signs to
Sandspit. When you see the water, drive a further 200m
where you will see The Saltings sign on your right. The
driveway is quite steep so take it gently in low gear.

From the north, on State Highway 1 take the first set of
traffic lights at Warkworth and turn left following the
signs to Sandspit as above. |
To truly experience this enchanting environment, we
recommend staying more than one night. The Saltings Estate is not suitable
for children and for your comfort there is no smoking in the house. A two
night minimum stay may apply at peak times. We are open all year. There is
plenty of secure off street parking and wireless internet access is
available.

Visa and MasterCard welcome. Please supply name as on card, card number and expiry date if using card for bookings. Booking confirmation will be sent.

Payment Policy

Your
credit card details are required in order to confirm your reservation.
For full house bookings a 50% deposit of the total booking period is
required. The deposit is taken by Saltings Estate when your booking is
confirmed. The balance is taken when you arrive.
All prices quoted include the government's goods & service tax of 12.5%.
Wedding celebrations are very popular in this area due to its beauty and
proximity to Auckland. Pre-wedding preparations and photographs on site will
incur a minimum $100 charge which will be discussed at the time of booking.
Post wedding gatherings will also incur an extra charge and will only be
permitted for those with full house bookings and with prior approval.

Cancellation Policy -
Because of our intimate size,
cancellations affect us significantly. We will endeavour to rebook the
space and if successful a refund will be made.
